Teddy Roosevelt was born in New York City on October 27, 1858 to Theodore Roosevelt Sr., and Martha Bulloch. Teddy Roosevelt suffered from asthma which caused him to be very sick which caused him to stay indoors and be homeschooled for most of his childhood. He spent most of his time reading books and learning new things.
