Biography Of Steve: The Space Shuttle Columbia

Steve was one of six astronauts that were sent out in Space. He began his training in the month of February 1984. From 1987 to 1993 Steve was the Program Manager for the Advanced Space Vision System. From October 22 to November 1, 1992 he flew aboard in the Space Shuttle Columbia for the first time for the mission STS-52. In which he performed 7 experiments called The CANadian set of EXperiments (CANEX)-2. In this mission he did the role of a payload specialist. In 2003 the Space Shuttle Columbia began to fall apart while entering the Earth’s atmosphere over Texas and Louisiana and all crew members were killed inside. Due to this Steve was very involved in the safety of the crew and the vehicle. After the incident the first shuttle was launched
