Henry Ford is the founder of Ford Motor Company and the man behind the legendary Model T. Born on July 30, 1863, on a small farm in Dearborn, Michigan, Ford had a passion for machines at a young age. He gained a vast amount of experience and knowledge working in a Detroit machine shop and later as a part-time employee for Westinghouse Engine Company. Using his skill set, he successfully built his first hand-made gasoline engine in his kitchen sink on December 24, 1893.
