Elizabeth Warren grew up in a middle class family and learned very quickly what kind of pressures face the working class. She got married when she was nineteen years old and was fortunate enough to go to college where she earned a teaching degree. She taught, started her family, started and completed law school, grew her family, practiced some law at her home and then returned to teaching. (www.warren.senate.gov)

Elizabeth Warren was a law professor for more than 30 years. She was awarded the Sacks-Freund Award for excellence in teaching two times by the graduating classes of Harvard. She taught classes on commercial law, contracts, and bankruptcy. www.warren.senate.gov states that she wrote more than one hundred articles and ten books, three of which were national best-sellers. She has been said to be “one of the Most Influential Lawyers of the Decade”, was named one of the most influential people in the world three times, and

What she created was the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. She also served as Chair of the Congressional Oversight Panel for the Troubled Asset Relief Program. It is her mission to protect taxpayers, to hold Wall Street accountable, and to ensure tough oversight of both the Bush and Obama Administrations. (www.warren.senate.gov).

The way I see it, I’m going to be a working class citizen. So, all of the policies that Elizabeth Warren came up with would benefit me in the future, in that she is looking out for me. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau that she created would help me when I want to buy a house and will help me to be protected if I ever get a credit card.
