Starlito And Tupac Comparison

Have you ever seen Tupac with dreads? I bet you didn’t even know Christopher Wallace is still alive! Jermaine Eric, better known as Starlito, isn’t the exact image of Tupac but their music display similarities. Biggie Smalls isn’t the artist that I’m referring to when I say Christopher Wallace, but the artist I’m referring to is Don Trip. Starlito was born in Memphis, Tennessee, but later moved to Nashville where he attended college at Tennessee State University. He released his first mixtape, “Starlito’s Way” while in college. The mixtape was a breakdown of how the goals he was pursuing were all about business, while neglecting friendships. The blog showed a series of studio recordings before he dropped his first mixtape. His first mixtape was called “Eastside G 3rd Installment”, it was released to put himself into the rap industry. Trip didn’t get signed until he released the hit single “Letter To My Son”. The hit single expressed emotions he felt towards his son’s mother for not letting him see his son. Consequently, fathers all across the nation could relate. Starlito & Don Trip met through another rapper named Mario Mims, Yo Gotti. He introduced them to each other and they began to work together. Starlito & Don Trip shocked their viewers when they released a mixtape entitled “Stepbrothers”. This mixtape united the two and built a bond that couldn’t be broken. They were able to relate on so many levels and express their thoughts through music to share with others going through similar situations. With me being Starlito & Don Trip 's biggest fan, who knew that the combination of these two underrated artists could provide for me more advice than any advisor could, teach me mental toughness, and establish music that I can relate my personal life
