Aileen Wuornos is the first female American serial who killed seven men. She was born February 29, 1956 to Leo and Diane Wuornos. Aileen did not know her father because he committed suicide when she was born. The suicide had nothing to do with Aileen being born but he killed himself due to being incarcerated for child molestation. Her mother left Aileen and her brother in the care of her maternal grandparents and her grandfather abused Aileen at a young age. Aileen then started to have sexual relations with her brother. After the grandmother died, Aileen’s grandfather kicked Aileen out of the house so she had to become a prostitute to survive. At the age 14, Aileen got pregnant and had to move into a shelter; she gave the baby up for adoption
