The control group, on the other hand, had a significant increase in stress and the biofeedback group had a significant decrease in anxiety during the five-week period while the control group had a moderate increase in anxiety (Ratanasiripong, 2012). The article discusses previous research results, how stress and anxiety increase when nursing students begin their first clinical with no interventions. The researcher explains the findings and the purpose of the study by discussing that the biofeedback training intervention kept the stress levels from increasing and lowered anxiety levels, which is the purpose of the study. Overall, the researcher answered the original research question. This conclusion is reasonable, and the review believes the utilization of the intervention is beneficial during a clinical. The researcher claims in the conclusion that the “more psychologically healthy the nursing students are, the more likely they will flourish and graduate to become productive and contributing members of the nursing profession” (Ratanasiripong, 2012). The results of the study did not find this conclusion. The study was only conducted over five weeks and did not evaluate the psychological health of students beyond the post-intervention surveys, therefore the researcher’s conclusions went beyond the findings of the
