As sentient beings we experience bio-reactions in one form or another on a daily basis. In the following I will discuss three specific situations I have experienced resulting in different bio-reactions including; fight, freeze, and appease.
Situation 1: I was approximately 21 years old and at a BBQ with friends and their families. The children were all playing in the backyard with the parents standing around and talking, my 4 year old was riding his tricycle around the pool and fell in I felt hot and sweaty, my skin felt tingly, my chest was tight, and it was difficult to hear anything outside of what I was focused on. I ran and scooped him up out of the pool indicating my response was fight. My first conscious feeling was fear, then relief,
