Bio Chem Magnet Research Paper

Decent Essays
I think of myself a good candidate to partake in this program as I’m in all honors classes for my school plus my four magnet classes, and my one Ap class of World history. With all these classes I’ve accomplished staying in my school top grade of Principal List for 90 above all classes per marking period. While also being a student-athlete, I’ll swim 2 and a half hour a day after school. Regardless of the homework given or test I’d find the time to accomplish it all, and get the grade to prove it. These are all things I want to do, things I've wanted always get my 100 % effort. This program is one such thing as I’ve always been keen on having a career in the science field. That being the reason I attend the Bio/Chem magnet my school

I am enthusiastically recommending a highly-motivated, accomplished student-athlete, Gabrielle Brown, for admission to your undergraduate program. As Gabrielle’s (Gabbie) instructor for two consecutive years, I am well aware of the time and dedication she puts into her academics, while also training at an elite level in swimming all year round. Her strengths are definitely in the sciences and I have found she shows and incredible passion when learning new concepts and their application in the real world. Gabbie has a unique approach to laboratory curriculum as she is quite observant and detailed in her pursuit of the methodology and key objectives.…

Developer Total Monkery has released their new ID@Xbox title, MagNets: Fully Charged, which is an overhauled port of the original game that came out on Steam last year. I never got a chance to play the original myself, nor have I indulged in any arcade-style collectathon games in quite a long time, so I was hoping this would be an interesting change of pace for me. Sadly, this wouldn’t be all that interesting of an experience for me. MagNets is a pretty simple game in both its gameplay and story; you play as Faraday, a small android-like park ranger at Polarity Park who must fight against these block-shaped robots (aptly named Bloxbots) who’ve gone rogue and have captured the MagNetPets, robotic animals that are precious to Polarity City.…

The purpose of this experiment is to measure magnitude and direction of the Earth’s Magnetic Field where by modeling it as a bar magnetic a first order approximation can be obtained. In general, the South magnetic pole is located close to the Earth’s North geographical pole whereas the North Pole is located close to the Earth’s South geographical pole. It should also be noted that a magnetic field is also known as a vector field for the reason being that it has a local direction and magnitude and if locations are changed so is the magnetic field. The magnetic field can be broken into two parts which are the Horizontal component that points parallel with the Earth’s surface and the vertical which points perpendicular. North to South is the direction…

What would a world without magnets be like? Well, I can tell you that there would be a lot of questions on why something sticks to something else. Life without this tool, was life without TV, computers, microwaves, vacuum cleaners, and credit cards! These same inventions are why the magnet is important to us today, this innovation brought us the thing humans cherish the most in civilization today, electricity. Now we use this gadget for kids in elementary, middle, and high school, because it can be an explanation for some of the stuff taught in school, or, it can be used as just another tool that may be needed during a lesson.…

Source 1:http://van.physics.illinois.edu/qa/listing.php?id=13451 Some kinds of metals (like steel that the needles are made of) are made up of billions and billions of individual atoms that each have the properties of a microscopic magnet. The atoms in steel naturally tend to get together in tiny little groups called domains, and within each domain the atoms tend to point in the same direction, which makes the domains behave like a tiny little bar magnets just like the kind you have probably played with at school. The needle of a compass is also a bar magnet, and we know what this does: it points north because it likes to line itself up with the magnetic field of the earth. "…
