In BIO-202 Human Anatomy and Physiology II, I recieved an 70.93%. Although, 2.0 or "C" is a passing grade, I am disappointed in myself. I know my full potential as a student and I know I can excel in the course. During Human Anatomy and Physiology II, I was also taking five other demanding and rigorous courses. Because of my workload, I sometimes struggled balancing every course. I took on the challenge of 16 credits hours, in which can seem unbearable to others, I pushed through. Unfortunately, I fell short with my BIO-202 lecture course.
I now know the expectations of Human Anatomy and Physiology II. I am fully aware of what it takes to exceed in the course. I will not only study hard for the quizzes and exams but I will seek additional

Each year, members of the community gather at the HAPpy Museum, a night full of exhibits by Human Anatomy and Physiology (HAP) students. In my life I have only ever got one B and for reasons beyond my control and to complex to be explained. However, this B feels like my first real B. It resembles the first course that has ever conquered me. The whole time I have been striving to get A’s not for my gpa but for myself because it was something attainable that I was certain I could accomplish and that seemed to solely rest upon me.…

My grades this past year were and are not indicative of who I am as a student, or as a person in general. My junior year of high school, I decided to do PSEO, thinking it was an easy way to get credits for both high school and college. I did not realize the struggle I was going to have just trying to be accountable for myself during my senior year. My daily schedule consisted of work, soccer, managing the high school boy’s hockey team, volunteer work, spending time with my high school friends and taking college courses. I took the most challenging classes through Anoka-Ramsey Community College, thinking that like high school these would be the best for me.…

I am writing about my first week as a peer mentor in BIOL 315, or, Quantitative Statistics. The class had their first team quiz (RAT), which I thought was a great way for me to start interacting with students and begin mentoring. Although, I did not get to interact with many students at all, and this lack of interaction made me feel most distanced from the action. I was mostly walking up and down the aisles, or standing around looking for a hand to shoot up. I was thinking to approach groups and peer at their work to see their progress, but I stopped myself.…
