Binge drinking. We have all heard of it whether from conversations or seen it in television and movies. Binge drinking has been around for a long time and shows no signs of disappearing any time soon. Binge drinking is prevalent on college campuses and even shows signs in high schools. The act of binge drinking is deemed as consuming four (females)/ five (males) or more alcoholic beverages in a span of two hours CDC. As depicted in films and television, typically it is males who partake in binge drinking and usually including fraternities. The purpose of this paper is to focus on female college students and the issues that females could possibly endure from binge drinking.
