Billie Jean King: A Famous Tennis Player

Billie Jean King, she was a very very famous tennis player, who led women in equal rights in tennis, and all sports in general.
Billie Jean King was born on November 22, 1943, in Long Beach, California. King got married in 1965 to Larry King. At one point, King was the No. 1 women's tennis player, actually for quite a while, and very inspiring to women at that period of time.
King won 39 Grand Slam Major Titles! Also, in 1980, she was inducted into the Hall of Fame. Just then, in 1984, King became the first commissioner in professional sports in her position with the world tennis team. Three years, in 1987, later King divorced Larry King.
In 1990, King served as a coach for several Olympic and Federation Cup teams. Then in 2009, King was awarded
