As a child, growing up in the mid-1990’s there were many TV shows which kids talked about the next day at school. One of these shows in particular which was influential to our learning had to do with science. The show was Bill Nye the Science Guy. While we unintentionally learned while watching TV we always seemed to have fun and talk about the latest show. Since that show, Bill Nye has always let it be known that we should know or find out the facts to various science related fields. He has been very outspoken the last few years on the effects of climate change and his relationships with people who oppose or discredit his stance. He will be coming out with a new show geared towards adults on scientific subjects that affect us every day.
