Bill Murray Research Paper

Veteran actor Bill Murray has finally made his first appearance at the San Diego Comic Con. Although the Comic Con has been around for a long time, the 'Lost in Translation' star has never attended the event, until last Thursday.

Murray's entrance in Hall H was met with an almost frenzied standing ovation. The actor was present to promote his new film 'Rock the Kasbah,' but all he wanted to do was clear up all those pesky 'Star Wars' rumors.

"I don't know if I was ever up for Han Solo," he said with a smile.

It was previously rumored that the role of Han Solo was intended for Bill Murray, but Harrison Ford eventually won the part.

The actor convinced the crowd to join him in singing, but they can belt out any song that they wanted. He then said, in true Bill Murray fashion, "It sounded very joyous. It sounded good. Thank you."

The magic didn't end when Murray stepped backstage. The 'Zombieland' star ran into young actress Jennifer Lawrence, who immediately lost her cool.

The actress, who attended Comic Con to promote 'The Hunger Games - Mockingjay Part 2,' couldn't help but turn into a fangirl when she found herself beside Murray.

Murray was happy to pose for pictures with Lawrence, who couldn't contain her joy in meeting the icon.

My wife and I this past Saturday night, watched the SYFY Channels new original movie; Bigfoot. One one hand it was absolutely horrible, and on many levels. Yet on the other hand so cheesetastic, it would be one of those you didn't want to miss if a fan of 'B-Movies'. With these type of films, lack of money usually effects the whole production. It's what happens when as a filmmaker, you dream of having a budget in the millions, and instead you're asking actors to work for scale because you don't have the budget to pay them what might get in another production.…

Portraying black women as Jezebel’s by nature is a long -lasting stereotype. The jezebel stereotype is one that has been used to put down African American women since the beginning of slavery. Throughout history the white women were seen as pure, hardworking and respectable, while black women were always seen as promiscuous, seductive and tempting men. Maria Miller Stewart who was a servant, teacher, abolitionist and women's rights activist shows through her literary work "Religion and the Pure Principles of Molarity, the Sure Foundation on which we Must Build." that black women show the same qualities as any other race of women and that they don't deserve the title of Jezebel. Every single year, there are a lot of films that are being filmed and being released, but unfortunately, not every film makes it into the box office. There are particular films though that are just so iconic, that no matter how many time you see it, you would want to see it over and over again. One of the reasons for it is that there are characters in the films that are just too good not to get noticed. Actors are often offered to do a specific role, or sometimes they audition for it. However, not every actor could connect and put their characters into life.…
