Success has powers that can take control of us in both positive and negative ways. Margaret Mead explains that success is great, it's the winning prize, but it can also affect us in many ways. She also explains that with being successful, we feel threatened by others who are more successful than us. Lastly, she says that Americans are confused with being successful and how we should react. I agree with Mead because success can come with positive outcomes, but it can also come with negative outcomes such as:/ No one cares how they get successful all they want is to get successful and how others envy others with different types of success.…

The textbook definition of success is “the accomplishment of an aim or purpose,”. From personal experience, however, success is anything that can make an individual feel content with the life the person lives, whether planned or not. For Chris Mccandless and Henry David Thoreau, however, success was more about finding out who a person really is by life experiences, personality, and attitudes…

A Free Enterprise system is a system of economics that makes America what it is, a country where people can make their own economic decisions, such as selling or buying a product. Americans during the 1970s were having hundreds of advancements in technology, from emerging computer technology or advancements in medical technology. Bill Gates is an entrepreneur that succeeded because of the way our economic system was set up, the system was set up to ensure that not only could he create his own business, but that he could sell his product world-wide to others. I believe it was necessary to ensure that his business became successful for several reason, one of them being that he wouldn't have been able to sell or mass-produce his product in any…
