Bilingual Teacher Interview

On October 8, 2015 I interviewed, Ms. Machuca she is a second grade bilingual teacher at Our lady of Charity. The school is a private school located at 3620 S 57th Court, Cicero, Il 60804. Ms. Machuca classroom consist of 23 students; 11 boys and 13 girls, and 5 of those students are ELL. Ms. Machcua is a bilingual teacher holding a B.A in Elementary education. Ms. Machuca shared that this her fourth year teaching the second grade, and she teaches math, English, reading and science.

Ms. Machuca teaching physlosophy is to help children learn skills that will help them in the real world. Before meeting Ms. Machuca I dint really think about teaching children skills for the real world, in fact, I was surprise when she shared that with me.
