Bilbo's Symbols In The Hobbit

Bilbo Baggins is a hobbit who lives in a hobbit hole. When he met Gandalf, he asked him to go on an adventure with him. First Bilbo said he didn’t wanna go and he wanted to stay in his hobbit hole like every other hobbit wants to do. Until the took part of side of him is courageous and adventurous part of him made him go on the adventure. Also when the dwarves came to his hobbit hole and took his food and sang their songs. One of the biggest symbols in the book is the ring. Also the ring is the most famous symbol in the book. Bilbo finds the ring in the Misty Mountains. “Till suddenly his hand met what felt like a tiny ring of cold metal, lying on the floor if the tunnel.” the ring is a symbol of power, because when Bilbo has the ring it makes him powerful and invisible. Also the ring symbolises secrets the reason is, is because when you wear the ring it makes you invisible also Bilbo doesn’t tell the dwarves about the ring. Another big symbol in the book was the Misty Mountains. The Misty Mountains were a big part as well because that’s where Bilbo faced the biggest challenges. When they walk in the tunnels the ring slips off and he explains how he made it out of the mountain. When the sun starts to set the goblins start to come out. Then Gandalf, Bilbo and the dwarves hear the wolves howling. They weren’t wolves, they are wargs but they are wolf like. They quickly warn the goblins about situations. The goblins how up and Gandalf, Bilbo and the dwarves start to hide from the goblins. Gandalf tries to kill the goblins. As Gandalf starts to kill the goblins some eagles come and they take Gandalf, Bilbo and the dwarves save them. The eagles seem to be really good friends to Gandalf and enemies to the goblins.
