Bilbo's Short Story Of The Lonely Mountain

As they were floating down the river in the barrel, they left the forest of Mirkwood. When looking north, Bilbo saw the Lonely Mountain. After a period of time, the current of the water took them toward a city called Laketown. Laketown was a human city that was built on Long Lake. As soon as the raft of barrels came in sight boats rowed out from the piles of the town, and voices, ropes were cast and oars were pulled, Bilbo took his chances when the men were away to get his friends out of the barrel. The dwarves were all alright, just cramped, bruised, and hungry in the barrel. Then,Thorin step forward and announce his present as well as requesting to meet the master of the town.The people there were happy for they heard many stories that
