Bilbo Baggins Monologue

Decent Essays
Although I didn’t like Bilbo Baggins at the start, I grew to enjoy his character the most. I loved to see how his personality developed over time and how he managed to get over a myriad of obstacles. One thing I didn’t like about the story was how there were so many characters. It was difficult to keep track of and I don’t think they will be very memorable for me. There was a lot of action and it was very interesting. Unfortunately the author keeps putting so many things in that the story seemed to drag on and on. I remember starting the book and I had no clue what was going on. It will be confusing. Usually I like to enjoy my books as an art like how descriptive the story is and how it flows or a story that has aspects for analyzation or interpretation

Ponyboy was really the first person I could express my opinions to and the first person I could really talk to about how I feel about this stupid social division we have to go by. Even though he doesn’t really understand how we Socs have problems too, I can see that he at least sort of understands- not completely, but just a little… Knowing that he sort of understands is a mixed feeling of relief and just a bit of an absurd feeling as well, I mean, a Soc and a greaser actually having a nice conversation.. I didn’t expect him to actually understand at all, but I also didn’t expect him to be completely ignorant about it either. “Cherry, look what’s coming,” Marcia quickly addressed. I watched the blue Mustang as it was coming down the street.…

“You’ll never leave” is carved faintly into the brick wall of the small jail cell, probably from its last guest. Every day, I started to believe the phrase more and more. How did I feel about the book Unlikely Allies? I had lots of difficulty reading the book, from the sudden changes in scenes to the exhausting writing. It felt like a sloppy mess of sudden twists and turns that would, in most books, keep me intrigued, but this did not interest me at all. If the author added just a little bit of flair to the certain parts of the writing then I think I would really enjoy the book. The book had things I didn’t like, a few things I did like, and a couple things I would change.…
