Bilbo And The Dwarves Analysis

The difference between the the way Bilbo and the dwarves react to rivendell is that Bilbo was surprised when he saw the mountains but Balin, the dwarf was worried about getting up to the Misty Mountains.Bilbo loved elves but the dwarfs did not because they were very irritating .The dwarfs did not get along with them very well because the dwarfs thought they were very foolish. The reason I am saying this is because that the elves teased them and laughed at them and most of all their beards.According to the book, Bilbo the hobbit actually liked being around the elves because of their royalness and the way they treat people like bilbo.

The values that are important to the elves are midsummer’s eve.Where morning is fair and fresh as could be dreamed.Blue sky and never a cloud, and the sun dancing on the water. They rode away amid songs of farewell and good speed, with their hearts ready for more adventure. And with knowledge of the road they must follow over the Misty Mountains to the land. My main explanation of my conclusion is that you can say that the dwarfs was not happy about being around the elves because the elves knew so much about the dwarfs that the elves did not want to be around them on the other

However, The Hobbit by J. R. R. Tolkien follows a small, little hobbit’s heroic journey, illustrates the reader the value of this Hobbit’s heroism, and illustrates what it takes to develop into a hero; through the hobbit’s accomplishments, Tolkien not only shows society that anyone could acquire these heroic, but also uses the character of Bilbo as an analogy of the traits of soldier in the First World War, as well as their heroism.
