Bigfoot Is it Real or Myth?
Imagine that we are walking in the forest but all of a sudden we notice something strange that is out of the norm. According to the book called "Tribal Beliefs About Bigfoot", Researcher Todd Verna illustrates, "One story that comes to mind is an account written in Theodore Roosevelt's 1893 book, The Wilderness Hunter. He writes about a horrifying experience told to him by a friend known simply as "Bauman." Bauman and a fellow hunter were near the Salmon River in Idaho, and had journeyed there as a frontiersmen. They traveled on pack horses as far as they could until they reached a mountain near the river. There they left their horses and continued on foot. They found a stream near a deep forest and proceeded to set up camp, build shelter, and set traps. They returned to camp after setting traps, and noticed something had paid them a visit. “( Verna,21) The creature turns out to be bigfoot, a fear-inspiring creature who has been known for centuries. "Later they studied the tracks and noticed that whatever it was, it had been walking and standing on two feet. That night they heard strange sounds and saw movement in the shadows that made the two men feel very uneasy" (Verna, 22).
The major issue with this situation is that some people refuse to believe that bigfoot

From the book titled "Tribal Beliefs About Bigfoot" Researcher Verna illustrates, "Various tribes describe Bigfoot as an enigma shrouded in power and magic. At times, he is perceived as violent and crude, and in other instances he is a helpful partner among tribes. General descriptions range from a hairy beast with gray, white, black, brown, or red hair; height ranging from 7 to 10 feet; weighing from 300 to 600 pounds of pure muscle; and a howl that can cause a person's hair to stand on end"(Verna,

After school that day I hurried onto the rocky trail that lead to the woods. It was sometime around 5 o’clock. I followed the path that leads to my treehouse. The night sky was pitching in slowly and I needed to get there before it got dark. As sunset faded into darkness, I began to run. The cold, dull air blew across my face. The sound of my heartbeat was increasing. The sound of autumn leaves crunching on the soles of my feet, getting louder and louder. For some reason, I didn't feel safe. It felt as if something was following me. I felt something on the tips of my shoulders. Through the twists and turns of the complicated trail, I finally made it to the tree house before dark. I quickly climbed the ladder and entered the house. I sat there trying to catch my breath. The floor creaked behind me. Fearful of what was out there, I peeked my head out very cautiously and observed a black figure coming closer to me. That was the last thing I saw until my vision blacked…
