Bigfoot Observation

Performing a number of experiments in an attempt to communicate with the Bigfoot, I established what is known as a “feeding station.” It is a location where the researcher will place gifts and food, in hopes the Bigfoot will take one or both, and reciprocate by leaving a gift.

The feeding station I established was located in what looked to be a “day shelter.” I had located it a few weeks earlier while investigating the area. The shelter appeared to have been constructed of vines, fallen trees, and limbs. The shelter had a strong smell of urine. Below is a photograph of the actual feeding station.

Along with food, I began to place rocks on top of an old piece of flat marble. The flat piece of marble is a mystery in itself. The first time

The author hypothesizes that through boundary theory, we are able to learn behaviourial activities that Plains groups participated in, as well as their lifestyle at the kill site. Common activity that has been noted is the use of projectile points and tools. Sharpening tools was an ongoing task for early aboriginal people in the jump site area. Majority of the small sized remains were located near the butchering area. Boundaries near the processing and butchering location provide reasonable assumptions that the area only functioned to slaughter and process the bison.…

    1. (Gulliver critiquing his suit made by the Luputian tailor) “ He first took my altitude by a quadrant, and then, with a rule and compasses, described the dimensions and outlines of my whole body, all which he entered upon paper; and in six days brought my clothes very ill made, and quite out of shape, by happening to mistake a figure in the calculation. But my comfort was, that I observed such accidents very frequent, and little regarded. “ I think that this quote is important because it shows how even little ways of doing things are different between the two worlds. Gulliver, had he been making the suit, would have used a measuring tape like most would assume to do.…

Whether you want to call it The Abominable Snowman, yeti, Wendigo, Yowie, skunk ape, sasquatch, or even the Grassman, the beast most familiarly known as Bigfoot exists. For centuries, tales, myths, legends, and elaborate stories have existed about the cryptid Bigfoot. The cloudy and question-filled nature of Bigfoot is intriguing to most of the world. Doubters simply play off this species existence by arguing that it is a misidentified large animal or question why there has been no evidence that proves Bigfoot’s existence is guaranteed, even though evidence does exist that undoubtedly proves sasquatch are alive inhabiting areas around the entire globe.…

Ron Carlson’s short stories, Bigfoot Stole My Wife and I am Bigfoot, provide two different perspectives of a situation, in which readers can try to differentiate the truth from reality. The statement given describes that not every truth told is what actually happened, instead it is subjective to a person’s opinion of what is occurring and what they choose to believe. Reality on the other hand is objective, where it is not impartial to one side, separating what is created from imagination and what is real. Before reading these short stories that give insight that presents different viewpoints, I conclude that truth and reality were similar to each other. However, after realizing the concept of not always believing what you are told, and to question if it is a fact or what one thinks is true, I consider that truth and reality are…

It often amazes me that people have a difficult time with the concept that Bigfoot is a human hybrid. You honestly expect a humanoid creature that is over seven feet tall, covered in hair, that has abilities that are essentially supernatural, that possesses superhuman strength, that can live so close to civilization, yet remain almost completely hidden from man, and that possesses an extremely high intellect to have “normal” DNA!? I would expect it to have strange and unexplainable DNA consistent with the findings of the Sasquatch Genome Study. The following statements will disturb many in the “Bigfoot Research Community” and the general public at large.…

The idea of bigfoot began in the 1920’s from a North American teacher named J.W. Burns who heard stories from friends claiming they saw a big and hairy animal that they called “Sasquatch”. Since then, many Americans began hunting expeditions and spending time researching this creature to find out more information whether bigfoot is a myth or not. Bigfoot has been described as resembling a man or bear that stands tall on two legs and a darker coat of hair all over their body. Over the past 100 years, Americans still have no solid evidence that bigfoot exists. Due to the lack of evidence, noncredible sources of evidence and no knowledge of how or where they live leaves scientists to believe that bigfoot is a mythical creature.…

According to the Oxford Dictionary, tracking is the course or route followed by someone or something. The concept of tracking was an essential skill to the Aboriginal people in Australia. Before the colonization of the Europeans, tracking was a traditional trade skill in the lives of the Aboriginal people needed to survive in the environment of Australia. Soon after, tracking became a significant role in Aboriginal history because it molded the relationship between the Aboriginals and the white settlers. In the movie adaptation of the novel Follow the Rabbit Proof Fence, the tracker illustrates how perceptions of trackers can transform by witnessing the struggle of the tracker living in both white society and aboriginal culture.…
