“Mom I’m out the door,” I said to my mom. She replied with, “Okay honey, see you later.” I was on my way to go hiking in the woods. As I was walking, I heard a thumping sound. Then it stopped, so I thought it was nothing. I started walking again. Again, the thumping sound came. I started running, and the thumping sound followed me. I turned around, and there he stood 10 feet tall, hairy, and most importantly scary. The name of this scary beast is Bigfoot. I thought it was going to attack me, but instead it said, “Hey, how are you doing?” I thought I was dreaming, so I pinched myself. Sadly, I was not dreaming. So, I said very shyly, “Hi.” Bigfoot started laughing... I looked confused because …show more content…
I realized that I admired the Bradlees; their hair is fuzzy, thick, and silky. Bradley has enormous feet. His hair is very silky. He is the most hairy creature alive; at least I think so…. I don’t know of any other creature, other than Bigfoot (sorry Bradley.) Bigfoot is the only creature I know that walks upright, and has huge feet. No wonder, why people come to the woods and hunt for a treasure like Bigfoot. But once again, I was snapped out of my contemplation when I saw Bradley getting chased by a bee. It was so funny I started laughing like there was no tomorrow. I guess Bradley isn’t too fond of …show more content…

We are having a dinner tonight. I will eat some of my mother chicken and rice. Walking towards Bradley’s territory, I can clearly hear him laughing. I make my presence known by yelling, “ Bradley what are you doing? You laughing so hard you sound like a hyena.” Bradley was so focused on the raw steak he didn’t hear a word I said. I guess he’s hungry, so I set everything up and begin to eat my dinner as they start preparing their steaks. It was a nice dinner, and we talked and laughed, but I began to notice that most of the Bradlees had force

Jimmy Chilcutt, a police fingerprint expert, saw Meldrum on TV and thought he would try to help. Jimmy Chilcutt examined two particular casts, the first was cast in 1967 in Northern California. He noticed that the ridges, on this twelve-inch plaster, glided up and down the side of the cast, unlike humans or animals, whose ridges run across or from side to side of the foot. In the documentary, “On the Trail of Bigfoot”, Chilcutt described what he was thinking when he found the strange ridges, “Looking at this you could tell this was a species in of itself, something new that we hadn't studied before.” The second was cast in 1987 in Washington state.…

Ron Carlson’s short stories, Bigfoot Stole My Wife and I am Bigfoot, provide two different perspectives of a situation, in which readers can try to differentiate the truth from reality. The statement given describes that not every truth told is what actually happened, instead it is subjective to a person’s opinion of what is occurring and what they choose to believe. Reality on the other hand is objective, where it is not impartial to one side, separating what is created from imagination and what is real. Before reading these short stories that give insight that presents different viewpoints, I conclude that truth and reality were similar to each other. However, after realizing the concept of not always believing what you are told, and to question if it is a fact or what one thinks is true, I consider that truth and reality are…
