The plot was very fast moving, sciencey, subtly funny, and is sure to keep the viewer hooked the whole time. The animation was overall very well done and realistic; San Francisco was captured in a way that was detailed and genuine. The Walt Disney Animation Studio did a phenomenal job of bringing the animation of the film to life. In addition to great animation, the soundtrack of “Big Hero 6” portrayed the emotion of each scene beautifully. For example, when Hiro decided he was going to do the science fair and was preparing for it, “Eye of the Tiger” played in the background, showing the drive, motivation, and potential of the scene. In contrast, after the death of Tadashi, all of the scenery was very dark, it was raining, and the music playing in the background was a simple yet solemn piano tune in a minor key. Additionally, when Hiro and Baymax were exploring the warehouse that Hiro’s microbots were in, the music gets louder and faster as the masked man emerges and begins chasing them.
