My results of the Big Five personality test show a 53% Openness to Experience, 3% on Conscientiousness, 4% on Extraversion, 22% on Agreeableness, and 76% on Neuroticism. I believe my openness to experience should be higher, I love trying new things and learning new things. This summer I travelled to Japan with a couple of my friends and tried a ton of new things. My 3% score on conscientiousness seems correct, I am unreliable and completely disorganized. 4% on extraversion seems correct, I prefer being alone and working alone. This is not to say I am never sociable. My friends believe me to be loud and talkative. It all depends on the situation and how close I am to that person. It’s ironic that I disagree with my score on agreeableness. I’m not too argumentative, I believe I am genuinely good natured and forgiving, but I can often be rude to the people I’m close to for humor. I can occasionally be rude by not picking up social situations and cues. My friends said I am very sarcastic most of the time, which may tie in with my agreeableness. I cannot argue with my 76% on neuroticism, I have anxiety and as a result I am very worrisome and nervous at all times. I was unsure on what exactly it was asking. Furthermore I believe the answer of the last question “Has high self-esteem” could influence the answers to other questions greatly. Questions like “Is sophisticated in art…”, “is a reliable worker”, “is original, comes up with new ideas”, and “is inventive”, could be greatly skewed if someone has extremely high self-esteem and extremely low self-esteem. Other than that I believe the questions are easy to understand and easy to gauge the
