When you tell a story, there will always be another person that experienced it. Someone who stood by your side or a bystander that just peered in for a moment or two. It was once said, that 7 billion people experienced this day in a different way. This is significant to this film because when a story is told someone will always have an opposing viewpoint. For Will it was the disbelief that he held for his fathers stories that cause his different viewpoint. For each person in the tale of Edward Bloom was of importance and significance to the rest of their lives. If Will had taken the time at a younger age to look at his father's life he could have really appreciated him, and he wouldn't have had such a disgust toward what he initially believes are lies. Secondly, a lesson that the narrator teaches us is that one person can change the lives of everyone. This is extremely significant to the story, because without Edward blooms confidence and je ne sais quoi there would be no life and no stories to tell.
