Big Business During The Industrial Revolution

When the Industrial Revolution began it set the foundation for all the modern technology we have today. The Big business that was made during this Revolution gave us the materials to industrialize the U.S and mold it to the great country it already is. Without the big industrial companies in that period of time, I believe that we wouldn’t be the same United States that we are today. To began, back in the early reconstructing era right after the civil war people the U.S began to industrialize by creating Steele, the Rail Road’s, and finding Oil. The man that took control of the Rail Road was “Commodore” Cornelius Vanderbilt and was one of the first Big Businesses in the United States. This brought more economic development to the nation because of all the new transported goods across the country. These Rail Road’s transported iron, steel, and lumber across the nation. Then without the Rail Road’s we couldn’t develop our economy and create efficient needs of transportation for goods and people. Andrew Carnegie did many things before he created U.S Steel. The Steel Industry is what gives us all the steel for bridges, structure, and cars. Without this Big Business we couldn’t innovate and expand our nation to what it is today. This Industry was a one of the three Big Business’s that set the foundation for innovation and creation of new things that would change the United States forever.
