Big Brother isn’t watching you
Demonstrations, riots and similar things are normal nowadays. When whether a school, hospital or something is forced to close demonstrations will appear and so does riots at particular subjects. In the summer in 2011 a man was shot and killed by the police in London. The incident did create very violent riots because people thought it was very corrupt action by the police.
Russell Brand is a comedian and an author he has commented on the riots in comment on the famous English newspaper the guardian. Russell Brand is a former Londoner who lives in the USA. And the riots actually happened in his old neighbourhood in London.

Russell Brand has once worked for the TV show Big Brother. He uses his past as a Big Brother employee to compare how the government and the politicians are like the production company who created Big Brother. Once a horrible situation took place in Big Brother while Brand was working there. The production company did all they could to hide the situation, which included deleted scenes etc. Russell Brand compares the production company and the government because he means that the government also tries to iron out the situation with the riots. There are neither at the production company or the government interests in to give a thorough explanation. “Police were called, tapes were edited and the carnival rolled on”. The real explanation of the incidents at Big Brother was not allowed to get out in the public. The incident was quickly made up, so a fake history came out because the public could not handle the truth and so things quickly could get back to normal. Brand compares this with the riots and the government’s ability to handle the riots. Even though Big Brother was watching you 24/7 everything was 100% legit. So does Russell Brand mean about the government. They control everything and they are watching you, but the things that get out in public are just not 100%
