Big 5 Personality Analysis

During I briefly review the Big-5 personality test, I use the pen to summarize my Big-5 personality test’s result as below. The five personalities consists of extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism and openness to experience. The full marks of Big-5 personality test are 99. For extraversion, my score is 21, which is the lowest score among the five personalities. The second lowest score is openness to experience which is scored 32. Both level of extraversion and openness to experience were low. The highest score of personalities is agreeableness that is marked 62. The score of conscientiousness is the second highest which is 53, and the score of neuroticism is 47. The level of agreeableness, conscientiousness and neuroticism …show more content…
Self-efficacy referred to whether individuals had confidence in their capability to complete something. Low level of Self-efficacy’s people were lack of effectiveness, and they thought that they could not control their lives. ("The ‘Big 5’ Aspects of Personality,"n.d). For me, I encountered the above situation. Take the group project as an example as well. Once time, after my groupmates and I discussed all the detail about group project, we need to type the group project paper. However, in view of I had not enough confidence to accomplish more difficult task. I required to type easier part of group project’s paper. Sadly, some groupmates said prejudiced to me that I was a lazy guy. They did not listen to my explanation. Why I was lack of confidence to do things? Some study used Erikson’s Autonomy and Shame, doubt’s stage said that children could do more things by themselves in the early childhood. If the parents were overprotected for their children, that children would be shameful and doubt their abilities. They would be lack of confidence in their power in the later life (Erik Erikson's 8 Stages of Psychosocial Development, n.d.) Hence, that could explained why my level of Self-efficacy were low and I had not enough confidence to accomplish a challenged task..
