Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis
Our large intestine is an advanced ecosystem, where thousands of bacteria proliferate. these Bateria are helpful in absorption of non digested nutrients from the food example starch, polysaccharides, sugars etc.
Bifidobacteria is gram-positive, anaerobic and rod-shaped bacteria, that can be esily found in the large intestines of humans and animals (mammals). Bifidobacterium animalis Is a type of the species, which act as probiotic and impose many health benefits . The play an important role in maintaining healthy digestive tract in humans as inside our body they compete for nutrients from the food. In the process of doing this they clinge themselves to our digestive tract’s wall …show more content…
Bifidobacteria reduces the presence of search for full bacteria and prevent there proliferation. as these bacteria do not get any nutrients from the food they simply pass out of the human digestive tract. as the Bifidobacteria is anaerobic and do not need molecular oxygen to grow, so it creates less oxygen enviornment, and because of the absence of appropriate conditions harmful bacteria are unable to grow and do not cause any harm.
Bifidobacteria are a good producer of acids and in this way are able to reduce the pH, as a result harmful bacteria prefering alkaline environment are destroyed.
Bifidobacteria Improve the liver health it is also able to produce vital B-complex vitamins.
