Biblical Worldview Essay

The legal profession can be hard for a Christian if he or she is not prepared to stand strong for our faith in Christ Jesus. As we read in the Bible, we are each made in the image of God. No matter the profession, we are to always represent ourselves as Christians. Because we are made in the image of God, as a lawyer, I should never compromise my morale for what's right in the legal eye, and also to never judge someone based on their past.

Since mankind is made in the image of God, as a lawyer, I should never allow my moral principles to be overruled by legal principles. I should always uphold God's law above man's law no matter the consequences. Many

Not only when presenting evidence or representing someone, but also letting it become known that a Christian can do the Will of God and at the same time uphold the law while on earth.

Deuteronomy 16:18 states,“You shall appoint judges and officers in all your towns that the Lord your God is giving you, according to your tribes, and they shall judge the people with righteous judgment." Since mankind is made in the image of God, as a lawyer, I should never judge someone based on their past. When we stereotype people we sometimes look past the truth. Once we accept Jesus as our savior, our past is wiped clean. In the same sense, I should never judge someone that I'm representing but I should take into account all of the evidence presented. Biblically, it is up to the judges to judge someone and determine whether or not someone is actually guilty. Matthew 7:1 states, “Do not judge, or you too will be judged." As a lawyer, I vow to uphold these standards and to consistently provide integrity in whatever legal action I encounter and to also leave the judging up to the judges.

Since each human is made in the image of God, we are to adhere to the laws set forth in the Bible. As a lawyer, I should never compromise my faith for any advancement in my career. The Bible is clear when it describes that God created us in the image of Him. The world can pressure you into compromising your faith and morale, but I vow to uphold each law given by the One who
