Biblical Worldview Research Paper

The fashion in which one chooses to live and conduct their lives is solely due to the way in which they view their reality. One’s reality is comprised of beliefs based on the truths that make up their everyday life. Holistically, this is the precise structure of a worldview. In a worldview, it only set to explain the secular perspective of our lives, therefore, it fails to provide a revelation of who we are in God. It describes our behavior, emotions, cognitive processes and actions, but only to a restricted degree. Credit is given to man and an emphasis is put on the idea of self. There is an absence of God. Once God is aligned in every aspect of one’s reality a worldview transforms into a Biblical worldview. Until this is achieved, the fullness of life will never manifest, leaving life void.

The general understanding of the differentiation of right and wrong is based on the outcome of any situation. This is defined through the state of someone’s health or wellbeing, whether physical, emotional or mental. The decision is made after their wellbeing is acted upon by an internal or external force. Take into account the things once deemed as taboo that are now acceptable. The idea of morality within the Biblical worldview is built on bringing glory to God.
