I believe you perfectly summed up how as Christians it is our responsibility to follow God first and then to use our biblical worldview in the field of psychology. We may never fully understand how our brains function or exactly how the brain controls behaviors, but we can show others the love of God while helping them. Proverbs 2:6 states “For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding” (New King James Version). As Christians, we need to seek God’s wisdom first, before we help others. Discernment for us is very important before we try to “fix” someone else’s issues that they are encountering.
