1. Explain several characteristics or qualities of human beings suggested in the Bible’s creation myth. How do the two stories complement each other in describing adam?
One characteristic or quality of human beings suggested in the Bible are that we are created in the image of God meaning that we were created to be a visible manifestation of God on earth. Another quality or characteristic of human beings are that we are co-creators with God as we are supposed to care for other people and all living beings as God would. The two stories complement each other by showing human beings as co-creators with one another and also with God. The two stories show man and woman sharing something essential such as being life-giving partners to one another.
