Bible Demons

Improved Essays
The Bible tells us that Demons are fallen angels that followed after Satan when he decided to think he was higher than God. These angels could've stayed in heaven, but they didn't want to release the evil intentions they had. Demons are one third of the angles that left when Satan was kicked of of heaven. Like when God sends his angels to protect us, Satan will send out his demons to take out Christians and he will do his best to come against God and his people. Demons are like the great angles in heaven, they can take on the physical form because they are a spirit.

According to the gospels demons can over take a human vessel that isn't covered by the blood of Jesus. Jesus mentions that a demon will search were it has been cast out from and if he finds it empty he will enter back in and bring more with him. The second time will be more worse than the first. A person that is possessed with a demon shows the signs of someone having seizures, and many other mental disorders, but we have to remember that's not always the case. Demons also have supernatural strength that humans can't even imagine.

Each writer was unique how they wrote about demons. When Jesus came to Gerasene near the tombs he confronted a man that had a legion of demons, but what makes the writers unique is that one of them writes that Jesus came across two men that was possessed and another writer explains about one that is possessed. In this certain part of the gospels I believe Jesus is introducing us to who the demons are and what they are capable

The angels symbolize Jesus as the only way to Heaven. As the blood ran from His face, the thunder roared the sky grew dark, and the earth trembled before Jesus died. Why would the earth react and tremble and the atmosphere be moved so violently right before Jesus died? A lot was happening in the spiritual realm while Jesus hang on the cross I believe the demons and devil pondered and murmured while they waited for Jesus spirit to release from his body then took Him to hell in our stead.…

Though we are an image of God, we do not have the power or the will to save ourselves from the Devil. It is human nature to succumb to sin and again, from a Christian perspective, Christ alone can save us then. It is not right or Christian for people to think that they can somehow provide satisfaction for their sins without the Hands of God to guide them toward the light. Though they might imagine that they have the power to save themselves and that they have self-control, they need to understand that the ultimate power to save anyone lies with God. He who created us in His image alone has the power to save us from straying away from the path He has laid down for…

I agree with most of your post, Joshua, but I feel like there is no religion, with the ability to know the absolute truth about God. While I am a Christian, and my path with God means accepting that Jesus died on the Cross for my sins, but I also understand how those in power have used Christianity to gain riches and convert souls. The Spanish, and English monarchy spread of Christianity was a hidden agenda, to explore and control the riches and people from these lands. Even the Bible can be read in many various versions, with deleted texts from one to another. For Example, the New International Version is published by Zondervan who's parent company is HarperCollins, and The Satanic Bible is published by Avon who's parent company is HarperCollins.…

What is the difference between an angel and a demon? They began in the same place, and are powerful in doing what they want. Both are persuasive and influential in their dealings with others. The difference is their goals and their motives; angels protect kindness and order and demons advocate chaos and cruelty. Many times in literature, characters will represent the idea of angels versus demons.…

These arguments are very good representatives of the logical problem of evil. This argument seeks to show that there is a contradiction in that evil exists in spite of the existence of a good and powerful being. As long as we utilize this school of thought then there is also the other part of this school of thought which argues that there is an evil being who causes these bad things to happen known as Satan. According to the logical problem of evil’s line of argument, this being is responsible for causing natural calamities such as earthquakes, tsunamis and terminal diseases.…

Matthew writes about an encounter between Satan and Jesus. This occurred when Jesus was in the wilderness for forty days and forty nights. Satan tried to tempt him and get him to make a mistake in an attempt to bring Jesus down to his level by making him no longer perfect and without sin. We find this account in Matthew chapter 4 “Then the devil took him to the holy city, Jerusalem, to the highest point of the Temple, and said, “If you are the Son of God, jump off! For the Scriptures say, ‘He will order his angels to protect you.…
