If God is all you have, you have all you need, John 14:8. A great activity offered by my school is the Bible Club. I am in the Bible Club with 80 other students at my school, and it is amazing to see so many people worshiping our God. First, it is awesome to be a part of a club that helps people get "saved." Second, I get pure joy when I look at the faces of those learning about the Lord. Actions speak louder than words, so that is why I like to make people happy, not just by saying something nice to them, but showing them that also. Last, I had fun when we did our service project at Christmas. We went to the local nursing home in town, and we gave treats to the elderly that live there. As can be seen, I think that the Bible Club is an activity that the students at Ridgeview Middle School would enjoy. First of all, it is amazing to watch people get saved and be able to help motivate others to become closer to the Lord. Seeing people get saved and rejoicing in their happiness, warms my heart so very much. Not only does it warm my heart, but it also encourages others to take the step towards Christ because they get to see how glorious it is to be saved. Also members know they get to go to Heaven when it is their time. After all, there is nothing greater than having a club at school that encourages students to become saved in …show more content…
While we have the Bible Club meetings, kids smile, and listen to the Gospel getting preached. One of the kids came up to me after a meeting we had and said, "I have learned so much information about God and Jesus that I did not know before," so that tells me that they learned something that day. People will also go and tell others about what the Lord has did for them. All in all, if people learn about the Lord, they can go and tell others about him, so the people who do know have the enjoyment that I have, can go and become a member of the Bible

It contributes to the service aspect of Confirmation because we are doing what God would want us to do, which is to help out the poor. We did this by donating all the money we raised to Melissa’s Hope, an orphanage in Haiti. We are all getting closer to becoming a full member of the Church by our actions in this year’s Mission Carnival. This project has helped me understand what God wants us to do as members of the Church and has given me an idea of what I want to do when I am older. 4. When Youth Work Is Supposed To Be Difficult This morning I had a great chat with a leader of a national youth project that develops events and camps where young people are expected to work hard, study and learn more about God. It runs totally counter to much of our popular youth work models, but is also exponentially growing and spreading nationally every year, developing incredibly enthusiastic and mature young people. In contrast, one of the most popular youth work models of the last few decades has been the ‘Funnel Method.’…

The guide provides introductory story on the weekly Bible theme, sufficient biblical background materials, and variety of activities in which to apply the biblical theme to real life situation. It also encourages the teachers to make outside readings, giving specific commentary and outside materials to read, and to use online resources. It assures the teacher that the curriculum material is sufficient and at the same time admonishes the teacher to make further study , quoting the Scripture in King James version, “to study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Tim. 2:15). Additionally, the lesson plans are well organized into three related units with specific lesson focus for each week. There is cohesiveness and coherence in the presentation of lessons, last week lesson is tied to the next, students are asked each week to connect last week lesson to what has happened during the week, and teacher preps the student for next week’s lesson.…

Many Churches across the nation have a youth ministry that offers children the opportunity to learn about their divine designer through Scriptural teachings in youth Sunday schools, and other ministering groups supported within the church family. Although, it does help the youth learn about God, Son, and Spirit it falls short in helping children build a closer relationship with God. Children do need to understand what the Bible is all about, but above all, they need to learn how to develop a relationship with God. Moreover, the earlier a person can discover and mature in having a relationship with their Creator—the earlier they can experience His work in their life. This helps children experience His grace and mercy for him or her—eternal…

However, this volunteer work is also challenging. It’s fun to figure out what would interest a person, the best scriptures to share, and how to convey the point clearly and tactfully. The main reason it is fun is I am giving my time to help other people. The Bible says it is better to give than receive, and I personally have seen that to be true. We spend our time, our money, and we usually are tired after doing the work, but I always finish feeling…

    Religiosity Of Worship

Worship is defined as “The feeling or expression of reverence and adoration for a deity.” Before this course I always thought it was just the slow songs at church that always came before the sermon, I now understand It to be a way of life. King David was an incredible symbol of worship both in his time and ours, and is particularly significant in how we should view worship. The way that we worship, as Pentecostal Christians as apposed to Anglican Christians is very different as they are very focused on works and religiosity do not have as much of a relationship with God. In my own experience growing up in an Anglican school I observed Anglicans version of worship for many years.…
