That's why many people say then males can endure more than women. However though, fact or not, that shouldn’t put fear in a women from doing a certain job because her body makeup is different. That just means to me women have to work twice as hard then men just to prove our worth. Bias in the workplace has a long history of being unfair. That’s why the Equal Pay Act was created. The Equal Pay Act basically states that men and women are both equally payed for equal work. We all know that in some places, boss may work around that law and find loop holds that don't fully fit the idea of equal work equal pay. Me being a women, this motivates me to work even harder. The duties around the house involved cleaning, cooking, and taking care of the family .Television shows such as I Love Lucy, and The Danny Thomas Show were popular shows that always showcased the woman role in the household. Betty Friedan, a woman activist and who also wrote The Feminine Mystique, stated this: “Just what was this problem that has no name? What were the words women used when they tried to express it? Sometimes a woman would say "I feel empty somehow ... incomplete." Or she would say, "I feel as if I don't exist”. She was basically stated how women felt they had more to offer to the world. Not every woman was happy to just cook and clean everyday. The missing thing that many women faced was the fact they have a life too. They have rights just as men to go out and work.
