Do you think appeals to fear are the best motivational force, no because a few hours cannot change a life time of broken homes, broken families, alcoholism , drugs and no love. The kids change for a few weeks then there back to drugs, alcohol, and stealing. To start this off, I would like to say that fear is not the best motivational force. I think that the way people act is shows how they were raised and what you have been through, people change when they go through a hard time in the life like divorcing parents, drug headed parents, and even no parents. In the tv show “beyond scared straight” the kid says 2 hours cannot change a lifetime of broken families and drugs. But in them 2 hours it makes kids think about the hard times in there
