Beyonce’s Mom’s 60th New Orleans Masquerade Themed Party
Talk about more than 100,000 reasons to celebrate! Tina Knowles’ 60th birthday ball was certainly that. Being the mother of music idols Beyonce and Solange surely speak volumes, and a blast was had by all. Her children chose New Orleans, a place of family beginnings to wine and dine their mom. No doubt, Tina will remember her 60th birthday party for a long time.

The A-list of entertainment stars included Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Rowland, Kris Jenner and of course, son-in-law Jay Z. The event kicked off with cocktails and an elaborate masquerade parade and show. The birthday girl arrived in a carriage and was celebrated by almost 200 special guests. The food was wildly fabulous and included Creole favorites like gumbo, shrimp, and brisket.

Florence Welch’s Wild Hotel Birthday Party
Gothic, edgy, unapologetic indie rock/pop singer/songwriter, Florence Welch is no stranger to the wild and wacky. Her performances are notable and she seems no stranger to the bizarre. She actually jumped off the stage during a performance and broke her foot. There was also an incident where she recorded the sounds of fire crackling as the band’s equipment was destroyed by fire!

Her birthday party seemed to follow the same fiery trend. For an undisclosed sum of money, Florence’s birthday was perhaps one of the wildest ever. Her guests were treated to all the wild martinis they could hold and the morning after told a tale of tainted walls, a broken tooth, the remnants of a room fire and a huge hangover.

Latin American culture regards a “Quinceañera” as an adolescent girl’s entrance into womanhood at the tender age of 15 (“quince años” meaning 15 years of age/15 years old).
