Beyonce As A Role Model

My Three Role Models

I chose Beyonce as one of my role models for the reason that she’s accomplished a lot as a woman of color in today’s society. She’s known to raise the confidense of many people and to tell them that its ok to be themselves around other people. She’s won many awards for her music, even as far as to perform for the President. Beyonce beleives in the rights for women and is a vocal feminist who promotes women to be independent and stay true to themselves. She teaches young girls to be independent and to love themselves before anything else, to not change themselves for anyone and do everything for themselves if it comes down to it.

She inspired me because she never gave up. She was persistent until she got what she wanted. Even though she was stunned at first, she did not let that stop her until she gained the name of Silver Queen and had the respect of the people. That is very inspiring to me because I have not let other people’s opinion of me stop me from achieving my goals. Another reason why she is my favorite is because instead of sitting back and letting her husband do all the work, she helped him.…

One of my all time favorite Disney movies Mulan was based on the fifth century Chinese poem the Ballad of Mulan. As little contemporary evidence exists other than the poem, it is unknown whether she was a real or fictional person. In the movie Mulan is portrayed as a very beautiful, strong, and brave woman who disguises herself as a man named Ping and joins the imperial army to defeat the huns in the stead of her old and very weak father and ultimately saves China. Anyways to get to the good parts the Han Dynasty in ancient China, the legendary Great Wall fails to keep out the notorious Hun army and their ruthless leader, Shan Yu. The Emperor of China entrusts General Li with mobilizing an army to protect China.…
