Tony states “Temptation usually will not stop at one attempt” and also, “Temptation keeps coming back with more attractive offers”. King Balak’s request in the bible is like temptation on campus. It comes multiple ways and in multiple forms. The donkey are our friends that go along with us, and lead us to our temptation. The Angel of the Lord is the sign that God sends down to us in our time of temptation. When our friends understand the sign and try to turn away, it is our job to make the correct decision for us. In the story, Balaam was faced with temptation. When his donkey noticed something was wrong, Balaam turned to anger towards his donkey for not behaving correctly. In Gods eyes, by Balaam negatively responding to the sign, it means that he questioned the sign and did not see its power. Overall, no matter the temptation life presents you, spiritually or physically, someone or something will be sent to you as a sign. Do not question the sign, as it is there to keep you on the right
