After a few games, you will likely be driving your treaded iron beast like a seasoned veteran. As much as the games are enjoyable, the lag and server problems are a major issue. You may experience few instances where your tank seemingly teleports from one spot to another and gets destroyed by an enemy that appears out nowhere. Nevertheless, these are far and few in between; having a decent internet connection helps curb this.
One of the game’s strengths is its arena variety. Currently, there are only five of them, and the devs have promised more. The battlefields range from ancient temples, an urban city, a tropical island, and even a stage where the ground is laden with pools and streams of lava. These places are also laden with traps, a great deal of strategic thinking is needed to excel in the game, alongside skill.
Overall, Better Off Tread is a great casual MOBA tank shooter that is worth spending dozens of hours on, especially since new content will subsequently be arriving. With its quirky tanks and attractive level-design, it will probably end up as one of the best indie games to come out this year. Though it still has to solve lag and connectivity issues, give it a few weeks and game will be good as gold. We highly recommend giving it a
