We live in the digital age of technology. When people are not working or completing their day to day tasks, they are on their digital devices, texting, on social media apps, and so forth. This era of technology connects us to each other like never before. This is the first time in mankind where the majority of us are literate. Technology challenges us to ask what place we stand in the universe. We are organisms that are rational and self-aware. We are a species of language. Being a human being has changed significantly in this age compared to a century ago. In this era, relationships, medicine, technology, and society have drastically changed. Some individuals go the non-traditional routes, when it applies to relationships. Surprisingly now people can build relationships with artificial intelligence. There has been a great amount of medical and technological breakthroughs, from gene therapy to advanced computers. I agree with the objectives of Transhumanism, because it can benefit our species by, prolonging life, curing diseases, promoting greater brain capacity over time, and changing how people live their lives forever.
