Bethany Hamilton: A Brief Biography

Biography stated, “She was rushed to the hospital and lost 60% of her blood.”

As Bethany started to recover, she knew exactly what she was going to do when she was released from the hospital, but what she didn’t know was that she was going to change lives forever. Bethany Hamilton went back to surfing after one month of recovery. Bethany fell several times, but she kept trying soon she got her balance back .When people heard about Bethany Hamilton getting back on her board, people who had their lost arms or legs, they thought, “If she could do what she loves without an arm, then I can do what I love, without an arm or a leg.”
Hamilton, even won a surfing contest after the attack. Bethany also helped the people in Thailand’s tsunami, by
