Leadership is an important quality to have in everyday life, and is necessary in many activities. While being a volunteer at Safety Town for Aurora Schools, the other volunteers and I were given two or three kids to watch. We helped the kids with activities, such as crafts and reading stories. Showing leadership is important so that the kids behave and listen to you. We had to make sure we left for each activity on time, and that can be difficult when you have two pre-kindergarteners with you. Being excited gets the kids excited, and that was our goal.
