Beta is a very interesting brain frequency. Most people experience beta brain waves during their normal waking hours as they move through their day and perform their daily tasks. But, there are three different levels of beta brain waves that can be experienced, and they can all have a very different impact on your life.

1. Low beta is experienced around the 15 Hz range. You are in low beta when you are engaged in focused concentration. This is the state of beta frequency you want to be in the most.

2. Middle beta is experienced between 15 Hz to 20 Hz. You are in middle beta when you have increased energy and need to perform or think critically. You are also in this brain wave frequency when you are starting to feel a little anxious about

Positive Thinking

Most people notice that they have an easy time with positive thinking in a beta brain wave state. This could be because beta brain waves begin in the left hemisphere of your brain, which processes positive emotions (the right hemisphere processes negative emotions). In addition, the left side of your brain is what processes things like language and puzzles, which is what you will likely be focused on while you are in a beta state of mind.

In other words, in a beta state of mind, you will be stimulating and boosting the side of your brain that not only helps you get things done but processes positive emotions. And as you hang out in that state, you will find your optimism naturally gets a boost too.

3. Think And Act Logically

In a beta state of mind, you can access information in the brain faster, which benefits things like decision making and logical thinking. This can help you avoid stressing out over decisions or thinking and acting irrationally, which we all know can have a very negative impact on relationships, health, happiness, and

In fact, engaging in a beta session through binaural beats can act like a workout for your mind and increase electrical activity and blood flow to the brain, which can promote the growth of brain synapses. So, listening to beta binaural beats could help increase your IQ!

5. Increased Focus

If you need to tackle an important test or assignment, you will want to get into a beta brain wave frequency. It is known for intense focus and concentration. People with ADHD often take medications that help increase their brain wave activity to beta. It gives them the ability to focus and get things done.

You don't need to take medications to increase your focus, though, you just need to do what we talked about. Engage your senses to focus on the present moment or listen to a binaural beat that helps you naturally adjust your brain wave frequency to the perfect beta level.

6. Improved Social Skills

All of the above benefits of being in a beta brain wave frequency can help you improve your social skills. Being able to communicate effectively with people will go a long way towards all of your relationships. Acting logically can help you avoid saying or doing things that hurt your relationships.
