Not all worms are good for composting for example the Alabama Jumpers and Canadian Night Crawlers are the worst at composting(Orr, Julie).Composting worms have to be able to survive in captivity and the cold.Canadian Night Crawlers are not able to survive in captivity, so that is another reason that they are not a good composting worm.There are three different categories for worms, there is fishing, composting,and garden worms. The worms that are the best for composting are European Night Crawlers, African Night Crawlers, and the king of composting is Red Wigglers (Orr, Julie).
