In the article “Best Practices to Address Bullying”, it states that most anti-bullying programs only have a moderate reduction of bullying. As a whole, there are several parts that are successful. Successful implementation works with the best practices and evidence based approaches. These approaches must be comprehensive, coordinated, and happening school wide. It should be a long term commitment. Every child should feel that school is a safe place and they should have a positive school climate. Each school should have teachers and staff well educated on bullying, a correct program for their school, and any bullying should be reported and addressed appropriately. Any part of each school from classrooms to hallways, even to locker rooms should have someone around to watch students. All of these things should be taken care of and happening at all times to stay really committed to the anti-bullying. Students should also know how to handle a situation if they’re being bullied, as well as teachers knowing how to react to children
