To begin this recipe, start gathering all your materials. The ingredients you will need are flour, sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, baking powder, vanilla extract, chocolate chips, one egg, one stick of butter. The materials you will also need are a baking spray, a cookie pan, two different bowls, measuring cups, and measuring spoons.Make sure your materials are clean! Also make sure to keep your ingredients and materials handy and ensure that the eggs and butter are at room temperature.

Lower the temperature on the oven to 375 degrees and begin rolling the cookie dough into little spheres ( or depending on how big or small you would like to make them) and place them onto the pan. Once completed, place the pan into the oven, and wait about twelve minutes before turning off the oven (depending on how crispy you want the cookies you can leave them baking for a longer period). When the cookies are finished baking, take them out of the oven with protective gloves, so that you do not burn your hands and place them on top of the stove to let them cool.
