Best Dressed by: Jasmine Jones and Terri Minsky

Introduction Best Dressed is written by Bob Thomas and Directed by Tim O Donnell. And this episode was the fourth weekly winner in the viewer’s choice voting during the “Summer of Lizzie McGuire” promotion. It beat out “Magic train”. And Lizzie McGuire wants to beat Kate and Claire for the “Best Dressed” of her class.

Summary
Voting will soon to be held for the class favorites. Lizzie hope to win the award for the “Best Dressed”, and Gordo schemes to get his picture in the yearbook many times than anyone else, and Miranda receives encouragement that she could be “Most piosed”. Lizzie asks her mother if she buy her a pair of jeans to help her win the award. McGuire does not go for that, but he promises she’ll help Lizzie go bargain shopping for clothes . Lizzie , pools her money with Gordo And her friend Miranda, tells her mother the three need to study for a test, and goes and buys the pants herself, leaving mom to bargain hunting alone. But the three have a mishap they trip over a janitor’s broom and fall to the floor, where Lizzie gets a slushee-type drink spilled all over her new pants, ruining them. A photographer takes a picture to them, and the ending Lizzie and her friend Miranda’s dream of being “Best Dressed” and “Most Poised.” Lizzie changes into the pants her mother bought her, and for the rest of the day she receives complimen ts on them. Lizzie realizes that not only did her mother find her some nice clothes at bargain price, but that she missed out on spending a day with her.

Analysis
Strength: When Lizzie is determined to beat out Kate Sanders’ and Claire for the “Best Dressed”
Weakness: When Mrs. McGuire promises to take Lizzie bargain hunting. Lizzie is totally freaking. And Lizzie can’t see how she’s going to win Best Dressed in this year.
